doingthegood.work is a local-first collection of focused tools for rituals, decisions, meetings, coaching, coordination, planning, and engineering delivery work. The point is not to become another platform. The point is to open a tool, use it in the room, and get back to the work.
Why it exists
Teams often need one very small piece of shared structure: a speaking order, a timer stack, a decision tie-breaker, a release check, a handoff scan, a retro prompt, or a quick way to capture what the room just agreed. Most software is too heavy for that moment. These tools are built for those moments instead.
How the collection has expanded
The project now spans 38 public tools across 6 categories. Some are built for standups, retros, and meeting flow. Others are for planning, coordination, risk, review load, scope shaping, or decision-making when delivery work gets messy. 14 tools also include optional AI assistance for things like summarizing, clustering, or suggesting next steps.
How the tools are shaped
Each tool is built around one clear job. It should open quickly, make sense without onboarding, and stay usable even when a team is still figuring out its process. Most state stays in the browser, which keeps setup light and avoids an account wall before the room can even begin. When AI is present, it is there to assist a specific workflow rather than replace the tool itself.
